Charli xcx would "love" to do more acting

The 33-year-old pop star created the soundtrack for the new Wuthering Heights film and she's also preparing to release a mockumentary called The Moment - and Charli admits that she'd love to continue working in the movie industry moving forwards.

Speaking to Extra, Charli shared: "It's amazing.

"I feel so inspired to be working in film, whether that be as an actor or a producer or doing the soundtrack.

"I just I feel like really passionate about working with directors who I think have a singular vision, and I feel so grateful that I'm a part of both of the projects."

The chart-topping star has enjoyed huge success in the music business in recent years, but she's also open to the possibility of doing more acting.

Asked if she'd like to do more acting in the future, Charli replied: "Yeah, I'd love to. I'd love to."

Meanwhile, Charli recently confessed to being "quite a volatile person".

The pop singer - who married drummer George Daniel in 2025 - also revealed how she relates to her on-screen character in The Moment.

Speaking at the Sundance Film Festival, Charli shared: "I'm obviously quite related to my character, so I had a lot of inspiration to pull from.

"I would like to think I'm not as much of a nightmare as Charli in the film, but my real managers are in the audience and they probably know the true answer to that."

Charli observed that her on-screen character experiences some "spiral moments" in the movie. And the pop star compared and contrasted her real-life self to her on-screen character.

The singer - who enjoyed huge success with her Brat album back in 2024 - said: "I have been there. I think I am, as an artist, quite a volatile person. And nice though. I am quite nice too. Right?"
