Two Labour stalwarts are at odds over the lack of transparency following the Moa Point failure

The party's Wellington issues spokesperson Ayesha Verrall is calling out a lack of communication by Wellington Water - saying locals aren't getting the answers they deserve.

The directive that the agency doesn't respond to questions came from Mayor Andrew Little, but he says Verrall's criticism isn't fair.

He says information's being shared when possible, and if there's nothing to report then there's nothing to report.
