    The crack-down on anti-social road users in the Wellington region is continuing - with around 100 infringements and orders issued over the weekend


    Officers were out in force - setting up checkpoints to disrupt gatherings before they got started in Wairarapa on Friday, and Porirua on Saturday.

    Across the two nights seven vehicles were seized by bailiffs, while another was impounded - and around 16-hundred dollars worth of outstanding fines were recovered.

    Inspector Nick Thom says three people were found to be over the legal alcohol limit, while another man was arrested for driving while suspended.
