Ali Larter stole some of her Landman character's clothing

The 49-year-old star plays the fiery Angela Norris in the Paramount+ series and admits that she couldn't resist taking parts of her alter ego's wardrobe home for herself.

Ali told People: "I took the Leddy's cowboy boots, and I have the Agent Provocateur bra from episode seven.

"What else did I steal from her? Oh, a good pair of Wranglers. I have some jeans - got to have them."

The Final Destination star explained how she finds starring as Angela in Landman - which also features Billy Bob Thornton and Demi Moore - to be "freeing" as the character is so far removed from her own personality.

Larter said: "Angela walks through life without the fear of judgement of others. She makes up her own rules. And for me, that's so exciting to play, because I'm not like that.

"And you really can't be like that in most areas of life if you want to fit into the societal norms."

Ali admits that there is no room for "insecurity" when she walks around in skimpy outfits on the show.

The Legally Blonde star said: "Anytime you have to put on a bathing suit and walk in front of anybody, it's really difficult.

"When I look around, the sexiest women I know are the women that own it. So, part of getting there with Angela is owning it. There is no space in my mind for insecurity - I'm not allowing any of that into my space when I play Angela."

Ali and her family relocated to Idaho from Los Angeles in 2022 and she revealed last year how she welcomes the relaxed nature of rural life.

The star - who has son Teddy, 15, and daughter Vivienne, 10, with her husband Hayes MacArthur - said: "When I lived in LA, there were so many demands that came on top of being an actor. It's incredibly calming and grounding to live in the mountains, and we love raising our children in a rural, small town."

Larter also explained how she still regularly sees her children when she is away at work.

She said: "I'm always there for ballet recitals, graduations, parent-teacher conferences. And there's also the rule: If they ever want to come to see me, they're on a plane the next day."

Ali added: "There are no rules I won't bend for that.

"I try to explain to them: You can be a mother, and you can also thrive in your career. I am living the beauty of my dreams."
