Tennis ace Lulu Sun insists her run to the Wimbledon quarter-finals far exceeded her expectations

The 23-year-old, born in Te Anau, entered the main draw after three rounds of qualifying, before playing a further four matches on her way to the final eight.

Sun says she wanted to surpass her performance at the Australian Open earlier this year, which also saw her go through qualifying.
