Sam Burns showed the way at the US men's golf Open, as defending champion Bryson DeChambeau led the exodus of big names to miss the cut

Burns' sensational five-under-par 65 second round - the low round of the major championship - has the American holding a one-shot lead, with play suspended for the day.

Kiwi Ryan Fox, who denied Burns in a playoff to win the Canadian Open at the start of this week, is set to make the cut ... there are still thirteen players yet to complete their second rounds.
