    The Energy Minister says not enough energy is being generated, and the Government's making changes to help


    It's written to our three Crown-controlled power companies - Genesis, Mercury and Meridian - offering capital to spend on electricity infrastructure projects.

    Simon Watts says , the Government's working to improve supply.

    He says at this stage no gentailers have asked for money, but there was a perception that if they did ask, the answer would be no.
