The share market likes what it sees - as Fletcher Building offloads its construction arm

The share market likes what it sees - as Fletcher Building offloads its construction arm

The company's struck a deal of up to 334-million-dollars, with French multinational Vinci Construction - subject to regulatory approval.

The sale's part of Fletcher's signalled move to becoming a manufacturing and distribution business.

Craigs Investment Partners' Mark Lister says the share price was up more than 2-percent today, despite current global factors.

He says this is a good result, considering there's been a lot of global uncertainty arising at the moment.
