    Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone is pregnant

The 26-year-old Olympic 400m hurdles champion and her 30-year-old husband, former NFL star Andre Levrone Jr., announced that they are expecting their first child together, via a sweet joint Instagram carousel on Thursday (22.01.26).

The caption for the post - which included shots of the smitten couple holding onto a sonogram strip on a beach - read: "Made a human with my favourite human.

"Oh, how we have prayed for you ... and the Lord has answered!! You are our greatest blessing and are already so loved. We are eagerly waiting to meet you! Cool parents loading... (sic)"

Sydney's fellow track stars flocked to the cute upload's comments section to congratulate her and Andre.

Allyson Felix, 40, penned: "Congrats!! Such a blessing (sic)."

Anna Hall, 24, wrote: "Couldn't be happier for you guys!!! (sic)"

And Melissa Jefferson-Wooden, 24, typed: "Congratulations. So happy for you guys (sic)."

Fans of four-time Olympic gold medalist Sydney and ex-Carolina Panthers wide receiver Andre also gave their best wishes to the pair.

One person commented: "Omg congratulations. But please tell me you going to the 2028 Olympics (sic)."

A second user left: "God bless all of you! This is incredible news! Enjoy this special time!!!! (sic)"

And a third person said: "This is about to be the most beautiful and athletic baby on earth. GENE POOL JACKPOT! (sic)"

In 2020, Andre messaged Sydney based on a selfie she captioned: "Attention", and the four-time Olympic gold medallist revealed in her 2024 memoir, Far Beyond Gold: Running from Fear to Faith, that he replied: "'You have my attention. How can I get yours?'"

By December 2020, they went Instagram official with their relationship, with Andre captioning a selfie of them with: "Heaven sent."

In August 2021, a month after Sydney made her Olympic debut at Tokyo 2020 - which was delayed a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic - Andre proposed to her while she was on a girls' trip in Arizona.

According to Us Weekly, her pals were on their way to dinner when Sydney received a card that read: "I'm sorry I can't be there to celebrate with you, but I have a surprise for you on the lawn."

And then she found Andre on one knee, waiting to ask her if she would marry him.

Nine months after their sweet engagement, Sydney and Andre tied the knot at the Early Mountain Vineyards in Virginia.

Sydney told People at the time: "We've been waiting for this day for a very long time, so just excited that it's finally here and we can say we're married."

Speaking about their futures together, she added: "Ultimately, just getting to wake up next to your best friend and tackle whatever challenges the day has is so exciting."

Andre said: "I have a vision in life, she has a vision in life, and we just kind of merged our visions.

"And being able to just model that the two of us are partners and what I like to call 'co-labourers' in life. And in this season of life, me primarily supporting her and her dream and her calling, is fun for me. And just knowing how supportive she is of me as well, and in the long term."
