Jason Segel is staggered by how "handsome" Harrison Ford is at 83

The 46-year-old star appears with the Star Wars legend in comedy drama Shrinking - which he co-created with Bill Lawrence and Brett Goldstein - and he is still in awe of the Hollywood icon.

He told The Hollywood Reporter: "I was just doing a little bit of ADR [Automated Dialogue Replacement] and Harrison Ford came on screen. "I was like, 'Oh, my God, he's so handsome.' (Laughs)

"It's really insane to me that at 83 years old, if I was in a bar and it was between me and Harrison, I would still choose Harrison. "The guy is so amazing, and so is the vulnerability with which he explores getting older."

Michael Urie - who also appears in the comedy - recently admitted Harrison's "cantankerous" public persona is "just an act".

He told PEOPLE magazine: "He's silly and makes work fun. He loves being [on set], he really, really loves being there.

"I know he seems cantankerous on the red carpet, [but] that's just an act. He's actually very sweet, and he loves being there."

Michael has also heaped praise on Harrison's commitment to his craft, and the care he puts into every scene.

He added: "He is a really careful actor, he's really thinking about the work. He really cares about the scene; he treats every scene like it's its own thing.

Harrison - who also known for his work on the Indiana Jones franchise - previously insisted he has no qualms with aging, and he doesn't want to be young again.

Back in 2023, the actor commented on the use of AI to create a realistic-looking de-aged version of himself as Indiana in the Dial of Destiny.

He told Reader's Digest UK: "This process, this scientific mining of the library, was put to good use. But it's just a trick unless it's supported by a good story.

"And it sticks out like a sore thumb if it's not real - I'm not talking about visually, I mean emotionally real. And so l think it was used very skillfully and assiduously. I'm very happy with it."

He continued: "But I don't look back and say, 'I wish I was that guy again' -because I don't.

"I'm real happy with age. I love being older. It was great to be young, but s***fire, I could be dead! And I'm still working. So, go figure."
