A refund request to the Government -- from a scenic flight operator

South Island company Aviation Adventures is asking the Government to refund tax paid on aviation fuel -- hoping it will cushion the blow of the Covid tourism crunch.

CEO and chief pilot Chris Rudge says it could boost companies deemed too small to take a slice of the Government's aviation support package.

He says it's a simple way to support airlines that lure in paying tourists.
