Sheffield United have emerged from the depths of their dreadful Premier League season to notch a history-making 2-1 win at Old Trafford

Having accumulated just eight points from 19 games, the Blades have beaten Manchester United at home for the first time in 47 years.

United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says they had enough possession to win the game.



The defeat leaves United a point behind cross-town rivals Manchester City who also have a game in hand.

Leicester are a point further back in third after drawing 1-all at Everton.

All Whites striker Chris Wood scored the winner in Burnley's 3-2 win over Aston Villa, Chelsea drew nil-all with Wolves and Brighton and Fulham also played out a goal-less draw.
