    A search has resumed for two missing fishermen in Taiharuru near Whangarei Heads

    A search has resumed for two missing fishermen in Taiharuru near Whangarei Heads


    The men were reported missing just before midnight on Wednesday, after failing to return from fishing on rocks.

    Police have deployed the dive squad to the search area, with help from Coastguard and Surf Life Saving.

    The public is being asked to stay away from the search area, after learning some private jet skis were in the vicinity.
