44-year-old Mark Wayne Price has been sentenced to 30 months in prison - after facing 41 charges in the Papakura District Court yesterday.

Investigators had uncovered almost 16 thousand images and videos depicting sexual abuse content of infant and young child victims on multiple devices.

Price had also shared over 800 files with 27 others.

In 2015, he was sentenced to nine months home detention for similar offences.
