Winston Peters says ultimately the selection of new MPs is up to the party

Winston Peters says ultimately the selection of new MPs is up to the party

Former Labour Cabinet Minister Stuart Nash gave a speech yesterday at New Zealand First's annual conference, and was full of praise for Mr Peters and the party.

Mr Nash says he's still deciding whether or not to get back into politics but says if he did it would be with New Zealand First.

Mr Peters says it's not up to him but he does have a lot of respect for Mr Nash.

He says the former Labour MP would fit right in with New Zealand First.
