Raid your pantry and make six of our best winter desserts

Whether you're in the mood for a self-saucing pudding, or a no-chop fruit crumble, we have plenty of delicious options made from pantry ingredients.

Hot, homemade desserts are an excellent way to treat yourself in winter without leaving home.

Whether you're in the mood for a self-saucing pudding or a speedy fruit crumble, we have plenty of delicious options that make the most of pantry ingredients.

This is a quick crumble you can rustle up without having to chop any fruit. Ella Rossanis uses sliced tinned peaches as the fruit base. This recipe has just three short steps, meaning you'll be tucking into dessert in no time.

Hetty Lui McKinnon's self-saucing pudding takes just 15 minutes to prep. She's included plenty of ingredient substitutions should you be craving dessert but not a trip to the shops. This includes swaps to make it vegan.

This is a classic self-saucing pudding with lemon curd at the base and a sponge-like layer on top. By Julia Busuttil Nishimura, it's delicious served warm with a generous dollop of cream.

An apple crisp is similar to a crumble, only the topping crunchier thanks to oats and nuts. Spices including nutmeg, cinnamon and ginger are added to the topping and apples, helping this dessert stand out from your typical crumble.

You can be enjoying this decadent chocolate dessert in under 25 minutes. Also known as a chocolate fondant or molten chocolate cake, this recipe from Thalia Ho is designed for two but can easily be doubled.

A humble jar of marmalade forms the base of this pudding, which is dusted with icing sugar before it's served with cream. It's by Julia Busuttil Nishimura, who describes it as a big warm hug.
