The star-studded US men's basketball team have cruised into the last four at the Paris Olympics

They've eased past Brazil 122 to 87 - setting up semifinal against Serbia, who edged Australia in overtime.

France and Germany meet in the other semi, after winning their respective quarterfinals.

Meanwhile - women's 100 metre champion Julien Alfred has missed out on double gold - beaten by American Gabby Thomas in the 200 metre final.

Thomas' gold helps the US retain their place at the top of the medal table - with 86 total, including 24 gold.

New Zealand are 13th - with 9 medals, including 3 gold.
