Synlait's two biggest shareholders have brought it back from the brink

Synlait's two biggest shareholders have brought it back from the brink

Shareholders today approved a 218-million dollar capital injection from Bright Dairy and A2 Milk.

The company's working to restore its balance sheet and pay off debt.

Bright Dairy's appointed director to Synlait's board, Julia Zhu says they're committed to helping Synlait get back on its feet.

She says Synlait is a great company, but has been hit hard by events largely out of its control.
