    An orange "heavy rain warning" has been issued... for the West Coast of the South Island for tomorrow


    Met Service is expecting 100 to 120 millimetres of rain around the ranges in the Westland District... from 7am to 7pm... with lesser falls nearer the coast.

    Yellow rain watches are in place in the Fiordland area... north of George Sound... and the Ranges of Grey and Buller Districts.. until tomorrow afternoon.

    A yellow "strong wind watch" is also in place for Wairarapa... and southern Hawke's Bay... from tomorrow evening through to Wednesday morning.
