Christina Milian is planning to live in Paris for "a long time" to come

The 43-year-old pop star - who has Violet, 14, with her ex-husband The-Dream, and Isaiah, four, as well as three-year-old Kenna with Matt Pokora - relocated from the US to the capital city of her current husband's birth country and has relished being able to still do "the family stuff" along with her career despite the time difference

She told People: "It's great. My daytime, I get to do the family stuff. I work out. I do my self-care thing. I cook dinner. Usually things really kind of get started [for work] around 7 p.m., where it's like phone calls and stuff, and I'm making dinner.

"Dinner is the only time it might be a little bit stressful. Then I'm all good. Then I handle business at nighttime.

"I love it. You can fill your whole day with everything you need.

"But I do think we'll stay [in Paris] for a long time and that's really going to be a landmark place for us to stay most of our lives."

The 'When You Look At Me' hitmaker noted that her children are speaking French after becoming enrolled in the education system over there and she has even began learning the language herself, although she isn't quite fluent just yet.

She said: "My kids go to school there. I want the kids to continue speaking the language. It's easy to switch to English all the time. So it's nice that my daughter loves school there. We're Frenchies. I do speak Frenchies, I'm about 60 percent of the way [to being fluent]."

Christina is now starring in 'Dexter: Original Sins' for Paramount+ - which is the upcoming prequel to the hit crime drama series - and revealed that the time difference between Paris and the US meant she was doing her callback in the middle of the night.

She said: "My kids are sleeping, my husband's sleeping. I'm doing this audition in the kitchen.

"They made their decisions pretty quick. To get the call within the week was wild. I was so excited. It was a great phone call to get."
