    A first-up win for a local Supercars driver in this weekend's Taupo Super 440


    Matt Payne's taken the victory from pole position over Aussie Cam Waters ... with a fellow Kiwi also on the podium, on Sky Sport.



    Payne also set a new lap record in Taupo with a time of one minute 27.5 seconds.

    Aussie Brodie Kostecki, who was fifth, will start on pole from Chaz Mostert for today's second race at 4.05pm with Payne the best local in seventh.
