A new tool - named PanDerm - analyses multiple images simultaneously, to detect skin cancer and concerning lesions.
Developed by Monash University researchers, reports show doctors' diagnosis accuracy improved by 11 percent for cancers, and 16 percent on various other skin conditions.
Lead researcher Zongyuan Ge , says the next step is to make the tool respond to speech, not just images.
He says they're trying to create a ChatGPT model, but for dermatology issues - a world first.
