    Max Verstappen has enshrined his name at Formula One's "Temple of Speed"


    The reigning world champion's set a new lap record around the Monza circuit to snatch pole position for tomorrow morning's Italian Grand Prix.

    Verstappen says while the famous track has traditionally been tricky for Red Bull Racing - they started practice in a good place, and continued to make progress.



    Lando Norris was close behind in second, with McLaren team-mate Oscar Piastri qualifying third.

    Liam Lawson will start from down in 19th.
