Tom Hiddleston and Zawe Ashton have welcomed their second child together

The 44-year-old actor has revealed that he and the 41-year-old actress recently became parents for a second time.

Tom - who became a dad for the first time in 2022 - confirmed the news in an interview with GQ magazine.

The Hollywood star - who got engaged to the actress back in 2022 - also reflected on birth, calling it the "most beautiful, profound, earth-shattering, life-altering" experience.

Zawe actually hinted at the news during a social media post in November.

The actress wrote on Instagram at the time: "Today, I chose to mark a milestone in postpartum recovery with a trip to one of the @littlevillagehq baby banks, dedicated to supporting families all year round.

"Throughout my recovery, I have thought deeply about the children in our world facing the most devastating living conditions and those tirelessly working to protect them. I've reflected deeply on the ongoing war against children, a fight I am fiercely committed to. (sic)"

Tom previously admitted that his life has changed completely since becoming a father.

The movie star confessed to relishing the challenges of fatherhood.

Speaking at the Miami Film Festival, Tom shared: "It's just changed everything. It changed the centre of my life completely.

"There's a before and an after, and I'm happy to be living in the after."

Prior to that, Zawe hailed motherhood as the "most unparalleled and important role" she will ever have.

The Marvels actress told Sunday Times Style magazine: "The place that I'm at right now is the past, present and future working in a really special alignment.

"It's the most unparalleled and important role I will ever have and I look forward to being in dialogue about it when the moment is right.

"Listening is serving my energy best as a mother right now. I'm brand new to this and absorbing all the knowledge and stories I can."
