Signs of increasing frustration with political quick-fixes

Signs of increasing frustration with political quick-fixes

Polls commissioned by Wellbeing Economic Alliance suggest voters want politicians to plan for future generations - and the economic system to change.

Three quarters of respondents totally agreed decisions are often defined by short-term measures, instead of creating sustainable solutions.

Director, Gareth Hughes, says people want to see a long-term vision.

He says New Zealanders are sick of the constant flip-flopping and want parties working together, because we have some huge challenges.
