Manager Steven Gerrard has defended the actions of devout Rangers fans following his side's victory in the Scottish Premiership this morning

The Glasgow club now needs just one point from their final six games to secure the league title, which will end a 10-year drought.

Post-match, fans congregated outside Ibrox to celebrate with the club's staff and players.

Gerrard says while coronavirus restrictions should be respected, he understands everyone's passion.

Rangers will be crowned champions tomorrow morning if Celtic fail to win at Dundee United.
