The post-pandemic world will be a new era - and it must be a better one

The post-pandemic world will be a new era - and it must be a better one

That's the message from our Prime Minister, addressing world leaders ahead of the launch of the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework.

The agreement is hoped to encourage fair and resilient trade, supply chain strength, infrastructure and decarbonisation.

    The Quad summit begins tomorrow.

Jacinda Ardern says if the Indo-Pacific is to meet the many challenges it faces -- governments must recommit to a rules-based order.

She says in the Covid recovery - greater economic engagement will be necessary as now is the time to open doors - not close them.
