Police won't say whether any items of interest have been found, at a Manawatu property at the centre of a private search for the remains of missing woman Breanna Muriwai

Police won't say whether any items of interest have been found, at a Manawatu property at the centre of a private search for the remains of missing woman Breanna Muriwai

A building at the site was burned to the ground in a suspicious fire on Sunday night.

Police have cordoned off the property as they sift through the singed wreckage, and have also been focusing on a green house bus at the isolated and rural plot of land.

Neighbours say the officer in charge of the investigation visited the property yesterday.

Police aren't commenting on what, if anything, has been found at the address.
