All Whites coach Darren Bazeley's confident they're ready to once again deal with the favourites tag, as their road to the 2026 Football World Cup kicks off

New Zealand open their Oceania qualification campaign against Tahiti in Vanuatu this afternoon .

Bazeley says they're well aware of the mindset the confederation's other teams will have - after holding a highly-ranked US team to a 1-all draw last month.
