    More reason to celebrate -- than commiserate -- about the latest inflation numbers


    Domestically driven non-tradeable inflation remains high at 4.9 percent.

    But overall inflation has plummeted to 2.2 percent.

    Infometrics Principal Economist Brad Olsen says the picture is improving.

    He says the core measures of inflation are in a good place, and the overall rate is almost back to the two-percent midpoint.
