Fellow defender Karin Burger is welcoming back Phoenix Karaka to the combative end of the Silver Ferns for the Constellation Cup

Fellow defender Karin Burger is welcoming back Phoenix Karaka to the combative end of the Silver Ferns for the Constellation Cup

Karaka was forced out of the England series with illness.

Burger says while Karaka was very missed, her absence gave a lot of opportunities to younger defenders to step up.

The series gets underway in Wellington on Sunday.
