    A passing of the torch moment for the Black Caps in the upcoming home test series against England


    Paceman Tim Southee will retire from the red ball format after the series, while Wellington bowler Nathan Smith has received his maiden call-up.

    Southee rates Smith highly.



    Speaking from Sri Lanka ahead of the Black Caps' second ODI tomorrow night, Smith hopes to send Southee out on a high.
