New Zealand's red meat production's predicted to decline this year

Rabobank's global animal protein outlook says the key export will drop around six percent, in line with lower global growth.

Greg Smith from Devon Funds Management says pricing is expected to improve on the back of the smaller herds.

He says last year red meat was a money-maker, and it should remain that way this year.
