Miley Cyrus reportedly has no plans to reconcile with her father Billy Ray Cyrus

Despite her family's growing concerns over the country singer's well-being in the wake of what was branded a "trainwreck" performance at Donald Trump's inauguration, the pop star, 32, is said to have has distanced herself from her country singer dad

According to sources quoted by Page Six, the performer sees "no interest" in repairing their relationship.

A source close to the situation revealed: "Miley hasn't had a relationship with Billy Ray for a long time."

Billy Ray, 63, caused alarm earlier this week with his performance at former US president Donald Trump's post-inauguration Liberty Ball in Washington, DC.

The singer, best known for his hit song 'Achy Breaky Heart', stumbled through his set, blaming the shaky performance on faulty equipment.

Family members including Miley's younger sister Noah Cyrus, 25, are said to be "concerned" about Billy Ray's state.

Noah, who "loves Billy Ray unconditionally", is reportedly worried but hopeful.

"She wants the best for him," an insider told Page Six.

Miley's brother Trace Cyrus, 35, echoed the concerns in a lengthy Instagram post that he penned as a public plea for their father to seek help.

In his heartfelt message, he admitted: "I barely recognize my father now."

Trace, who has been sober for more than a year and a half, expressed his fears for Billy Ray's health, saying online: "You're not healthy, Dad, and everyone is noticing it.

"I hope you realise this message only comes from a place of love."

Trace's post was reportedly discussed among family members before it was shared, with all siblings except Braison Cyrus, 30, agreeing with the sentiments expressed.

Braison, however, maintains Billy Ray is "happy" and "healthy" and is preparing to release his new album, which Braison is producing.

In contrast, Miley notably left her father out of her acceptance speech at the 2024 Grammys, thanking her mother, Tish Cyrus, and others while excluding her dad from the tribute.

In a later appearance on David Letterman's 'My Next Guest Needs No Introduction', Miley reflected on her family dynamics, calling her mother her "hero" and remarking: "I inherited the narcissism from my dad."
