The US is continuing to buy more of our exports, and the Trade Minster expects the trend to continue under Donald Trump

The US is continuing to buy more of our exports, and the Trade Minster expects the trend to continue under Donald Trump

Latest figures show the US has overtaken Australia as our second largest exported goods market.

That's largely due to Americans eating more of our grass-fed beef, particularly in burgers.

Todd McClay says although there's uncertainty about Trump's tariff plan, New Zealand exporters should do very well in the US while he's in charge.

McClay says when Trump was president last time, our trade with the US grew very very quickly.
