Tracy Morgan is recovering in hospital after being struck down with a severe bout of food poisoning

The actor/comedian sparked fears for his health after he was seen vomiting courtside during a New York Knicks basketball game at Madison Square Garden in New York on Monday (17.03.25) before being escorted out of the iconic venue in a wheelchair - and Tracey has now thanked fans for all their well wishes and revealed his illness was down to a dodgy dinner

In a post on Instagram, Tracy shared a picture of himself lying in a hospital bed and wrote: "Thank you for all your concern!

"I'm doing ok now and doctors say it was food poisoning.

"Appreciate my MSG [Madison Square Garden] family for taking such good care of me and I need to shout out the crew that had to clean that up. Appreciate you!

"More importantly, the Knicks are now 1-0 when I throw up on the court so maybe I'll have to break it out again in the playoffs #goknicks."

The game - which ended with the Knicks beating Miami Heat 116-95 - was delayed for around 10 minutes in the third quarter due to the former '30 Rock' actor's medical incident.

A Madison Square Garden representative previously told People magazine: "We hope Tracy feels better soon and look forward to seeing him back courtside."

This isn't the first time Tracy - who has diabetes and underwent a kidney transplant in 2010 - has experienced public medical issues.

In 2012, he collapsed outside a building at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah, with the screen star's representative saying it was due to a combination of exhaustion and altitude.

Tracy - who returned to work a few days later - posted on social media afterwards: "Superman ran into a little kryptonite. The high altitude in Utah shook up this kid from Brooklyn."

And in 2014, he broke his leg and was in a coma for two weeks, later relearning how to walk and talk, after the limo he was riding in was hit from behind by a Walmart truck on the New Jersey Turnpike.
