    Seeded seventh - the Warriors have beaten the second seeded Rockets 95 to 95 in Houston in game one of their first round Western Conference series.

    Kiwi centre Steven Adams pulled down a game high 12 rebounds - and added six points for the defeated home side.

    In other series openers - the Thunder thrashed Memphis in Oklahoma City, the Celtics beat the Magic in Boston, and the Cavaliers were too good for Miami in Cleveland.
