    A man is in custody - after a police stand-off lasting more than three hours in Auckland's Mount Roskill


    Officers were trying to engage with the man - who was inside a home with a distressed female.

    Teams in the Police helicopter identified an opportunity to separate the pair - and others deployed distraction devices, and the man was arrested.
