The search continues for a Christchurch teenager, who's been missing since Friday afternoon

The search continues for a Christchurch teenager, who's been missing since Friday afternoon

Seventeen year old, Marley, was last seen in Opawa, with his car later found in the beachside suburb of Sumner.

Detective Sergeant Lucy Aldridge, says after searching the Scarborough whitewash yesterday, they're focusing on the surrounding bays, using drones, boats and land teams to cover as much ground as possible.

Marley's mother told our newsroom, she's desperate for more information and is pleading with Sumner residents to check their security cameras.

Marley is thought to have been wearing black track pants, and either a dark-coloured or light grey hoodie.
