A homicide investigation has been launched in Clutha, following the death of a woman last night

Emergency services were called to Adams Flat Road in Crichton, just after 6pm, where a woman was found dead.

A man is in a critical condition following the incident, and cordons are in place at the address as police examine the scene.

Detective Sergeant Hayden Smale, says they don't believe public safety is at risk.
