Cardi B paid tribute to her "haters" at iHeartRadio Music Awards

The 'Bodak Yellow' hitmaker scooped two prizes at the ceremony, for Best New Artist and Best New Hip-Hop Artist, and not only did she thank her team, fiance Offset and her devoted fans, she also praised those who download her songs just to criticise her

Picking up the Best New Artist honour, she said: "I want to thank my fans because even when I'm wrong, they be like, 'She's still right.'

"I want to thank my haters, too. Because they be downloading my stuff so they can hear it and talk crap about it. But it benefits me!"

And the 'Bartier Cardi' rapper also had exciting news for her fans as she used her time on the podium to reveal she'll release her debut album next month.

She said: "Yes, sir. April. Stay tuned motherf***ers, owwww!"

The 25-year-old star opened the show at The Forum in Inglewood, California, with a medley of her hits, as well as her verses from Migos' 'Motor Sport' and Bruno Mars' 'Finesse' remix, and had the crowd on their feet with her explosive performance.

And it seems Cardi has a fan in Paris Hilton, who was seen mouthing "I love her" when she took to the stage to accept her Best New Artist award.

Cardi beat out all male nominees to win her two awards, and she recently insisted she can do anything a man can when it comes to her career.

She said: I'm equal to a n****. Anything a man can do, I can do. I can finesse, I can hustle. We have the same freedom. I was top of the charts. I'm a woman and I did that. I do feel equal to a man."
