    As he gets ready to nab a single for his century, James Parsons has taken time to think about his mentor


    The Blues hooker will bring up his 100th game for the Super Rugby franchise in tonight's match against the Highlanders in Dunedin.

    Parsons was the second option behind Keven Mealamu in his early playing days, and says the former All Black was a big influence.

    He says Mealamu showed him the ropes, which he's trying to replicate as best he can for the younger players.

    Kick off's at 7:35pm .
