Immigration New Zealand says its Advance Passenger Processing system is down

Immigration New Zealand says its Advance Passenger Processing system is down

    Auckland Airport
    Auckland Airport
Passengers at Auckland Airport's international terminal have been stuck in queues since midday.

General Manager of Border and Visa Operations Nicola Hogg says the global system is operated by SITA - a multinational IT company.

She says the outage is affecting a number of countries.

She says Immigration New Zealand's using manual back up systems, which may cause some check in delays.
