New Zealand Rugby would make some changes to the head coach selection process if they were to run it again

New Zealand Rugby would make some changes to the head coach selection process if they were to run it again

Ian Foster was eventually chosen as the man to lead the All Blacks, after an application process which required coaches to present build teams and present their argument.

Other rugby nations either signed their head coach before this year's World Cup, or approached individuals directly.

Incoming chief executive Mark Robinson says overall they are happy with how they decided to do it.
