Murderer and child sex offender Phillip John Smith has again been denied parole this week, on his 12th attempt

Smith was jailed in 1995 for murdering the father of a 12-year-old Wellington boy he'd been sexually abusing.
It will be another two years before Smith is up for parole again, in April 2022.
