Holden's bowed out of Supercars with a Kiwi win

Holden's bowed out of Supercars with a Kiwi win

Shane van Gisbergen's secured the Bathurst 1000 for the first time, going one better than last year at Mount Panorama.

The 34th win for Holden was also its last race in the competition, after parent company General Motors' decision to wind-up their involvement at the end of the year.

Van Gisbergen recognised it with a lap of honour, waving a flag with the lion logo on it.
