Police are investigating a mysterious death in Christchurch's Heathcote  Valley

They're appealing for sightings of a woman with dread-locked blonde hair and possibly holding a long board

She may have been near the Cattlestop Crag climbing rock area on Sunday, or walking in the Mt Pleasant, Lyttelton or Summit Road area overnight Sunday to Monday

Police say she was wearing a hooded dressing gown, white and blue paisley long pants and black and white shoes.
