Melbourne coach Craig Bellamy has offered support to his former four-time NRL premiership-winning halfback Cooper Cronk continuing a dual role with the Storm and Sydney Roosters

Amid claims of a conflict of interest, Cronk is on the books at both clubs.

Bellamy says Cronk's standing within the game erases any doubt about suggestions he's acting as an NRL double agent.

The Roosters are happy with him remaining as an assistant, even though he's mentoring Melbourne's halves.
