Kiwis in the country's most populated regions have seen a dip in confidence

Latest Westpac confidence survey data shows household confidence has taken a knock over the lockdown.

However it's held up better than during outbreaks last year

Westpac Senor Economist Satish Ranchhod says most families still feel secure about their finances over the coming year.

Ranchhod says they've seen the confidence drops in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.
