New research highlights the impacts of a lockdown on overworked mothers

New research highlights the impacts of a lockdown on overworked mothers

A study involving Auckland University, reveals stressed out mums under 50 who were working from home during lockdown, were most likely to increase their alcohol consumption.

37-thousand respondents across 38 countries, including New Zealand, took part in the study.

Researcher Dr Zaheer Kyaw Hla says it shows the importance of applying more positive coping methods.

He says taking up hobbies or keeping in contact with friends and family are good solutions.
